Appointed by Governors - Term of Office Started: 5 February 2019 and Ends: 6 February 2027

I have been a teacher in secondary schools for 20 years and was delighted to take up the role of parent governor at Church Aston. My daughter is in year 2 and I have been constantly surprised and impressed by the level of care and education she receives. It is a pleasure to offer my support to the school and I hope I can help move it forward and continue the good work of raising the reputation the school has established for itself. As I was appointed when my son was at the school, I have since become a co-opted governor. My background is in business and finance, while I teach computing and business. I would like to use this basis to improve the learning opportunities of pupils and having experience of education will hopefully provide new ideas and help to gain the school the credit it deserves.
