Children's Work Spring Term 2017

Flipped Learning - Rhymes

Thank you for supporting your child at home with their flipped learning homework. They had some lovely poems and rhymes to share with us in school.

Author visit to School

Author, Lorna McCann  came to Church Aston Infant School to share her experience of writing her first children's book and how her story began. She read her book to the children and they discussed what type of character they might like to write a story about. It was a wonderful experience for the children to see what goes into the writing and publishing of a book.

Art - Paul Klee, Abstract Artist

In class 2 we shared information about the Swiss abstract artist, Paul Klee. We looked at his artwork and his quote " A dot is a line that went for a walk". We took our own dot for a walk and created some beautiful art.
