Easter Fair

The children really enjoyed the Easter Fair and the opportunity to show off their Easter bonnets in the parade, there was so many fabulous creations. Everyone had great fun taking part in the 'Bunny Hunt' where they won a prize once they found all the bunny pictures.

 

School Visit to Enginuity

Children really enjoyed the school visit to Enginuity. The focus of the afternoon was forces and mechanisms. Children investigated the main exhibits that related to the main focus. There was a fun interactive demonstration to develop an understanding of a variety of forces including gravitational attraction, friction, air resistance, lift and thrust. They then followed a design brief to make a buggy racer. Finally children got to race their vehicles to see which would go the furthest.

World Book Day 2019

It was wonderful to see all the children dress as their favourite book characters and enjoy sharing their books in school.

Chinese New Year

Children had a wonderful day when they learned all about Chinese New Year and were immersed in a variety of activities.

 

No Day Like a Snow Day!

As we don't get to see much snow in England, it was very exciting for the children and they really enjoyed having a bit of fun playing in the snow. A couple of them even managed to make some mini snow people.

Santa Visits School

It was a very exciting day today as we received a very special visitor into school. Everyone was thrilled to meet Santa and receive a gift from him.

Friends of School  - Children's Christmas Party

Children had great fun at the Christmas party organised by the Friends of school. They danced the evening away to D.J Daddy, had a visit from Santa and enjoyed a chippy tea.

Diwali

Children were immersed into a day learning all about Diwali. They made Diva Light holders, danced, created rangoli patterns and tasted a variety of food.

 

Whole School Trip to Stafford Ancient High House

 

We all had a fabulous day at Stafford Ancient High House. Everyone enjoyed stepping back in time to find out about life during Stuart Period.

 

We found out how a Tudor houses was built and everyone had the opportunity to try and build a wattle and daub wall.

 

We found out how the fire spread in the Great Fire of London and got to dress up as rich and poor people.
